(2015 - Personal project) As the summer was back, I noticed some problems in the use of barbecue. The main problem is about the cleaning, mixing removing the ashes, and the burnt fat on the bottom.

 

As I proposed a removable slab, and an ash drawer to ease the cleaning, I also thought about the process, putting the emphasis on the folding property of a metal sheet. I conceived the structure as a painted and folded sheet bodywork, thicker than the inside part, also made of steel folded sheet. A lid optimises the firing, with a mirror polished steal part that reflects the heat, overhanged by birch slab, preventing the heat waves to make more comfortable the proximity with the barbecue for the user. The wheels as well as the handlebar make it a mobile piece, that may use the wind to keep the ember going, thanks to the holes on both sides.
