(2013 - Internship at Cocosteel) Cocosteel is a young French furniture brand, created by a craftsman specializing in metal. His brand already features several ranges, including «Infini». Based on the strong infinite signal sign, those pieces of furniture stretch the limits of metal processing. As the range already included an armchair and a coffee table, Matthieu Colinet, the founder, asked me to work on a dining table. I decided to make the base as clear as possible, which led me to a glass slab, so the owner could always see the brand’s signature, which is a two-faced look, raw steel on the outside, and painted on the inside. While conceiving the indoor table, an idea came up with a sketch, that I could use for an outdoor range table. The base allows to hold a sunshade at its center, in harmony with the «Infini» range.
