(2014 - Personal project) As I was in Finland, I was able to improve my knowledge about processing the materials, such as ceramic and wood.

 

For the wood workshop, we had to design a simple piece of furniture, achievable by everyone, in order to learn how to process wood. Working with my classmate Lennart Klein, we decided to work on a stool that comes apart, so we could both bring it home in our luggage.

 

We conceived each part so it could be repeated and become a pattern, easing the process and the sturdiness of this 4 legged stool. The whole stool is made of birch wood, that somehow represented Finland to us.
